Leading With A WHOLE NEW MIND
Monthly Conversations With Pioneers

In Leading With A WHOLE NEW MIND, Carol brings the book, A WHOLE NEW MIND, by Daniel Pink to life. Pink makes the argument for the rise of the creative right-brain in a left-brain world. He shows that this is not just theory but practical advice for being competitive in the face of automation, outsourcing, and material abundance. The book describes Six Senses--Design, Story, Symphony, Empathy, Play, and Meaning-as competencies to develop alongside logical, linear thinking.

Listen as Carol interviews pioneers working with the Six Senses, including a Laughter Yoga leader and the developer of Lego Serious Play, We'll look more deeply at each Sense as well as ask the question, "What does it look like to apply this to my daily life?" Carol kicks off the podcast by interviewing Daniel Pink.

Carol, a former Bell Labs engineer turned executive coach and writer, has been leading with A WHOLE NEW MIND for over 5 years, when she first combined her creative side and analytical skills to create her own job at Avaya. Click here to listen to Leading With A WHOLE NEW MIND .

Conscious Living, Conscious Leaving
Conversations With a Dying Woman on Living and Dying Well

What happens when a dying woman breaks taboos on death and the dying process?

In a remarkable series of intimate phone conversations with her friend, Carol Ross, Ilene Kouzel shares her story of living and dying with conscious intention, and yes, even joy. Ilene speaks of facing a terminal illness without fear or distraction; of victory through surrender; of letting go of petty struggles to embrace the authentic and creative; and most importantly, how those of us with more time can learn to live consciously.

Ilene Kouzel died of ALS, better known as Lou Gehrig's disease, in October 2006. She collaborated with Carol on a series of interviews, taped over the phone, from April 2006-August 2006.

This podcast brings the richest part of the interviews with Carol to a larger audience. When this podcast was launched on iTunes in September 2006, it was immediately designated as a "New and Notable" iTunes podcast. It continues to deeply impact individuals around the world as each new interview is released. Click here to listen to Conscious Living, Conscious Leaving .
